My Growing Girl

She just keeps getting bigger and bigger! I wish it wouldn't go so fast.

Thanksgiving Madness

Thanksgiving was a blast this year. Everyone was able to come home! All five sisters, Florence, Kathy, Amy, Melanie, and me, and my brother Jonathan. All our spouses were here, and all our kids. For a grand total of 27 people all at Mom and Dad's house.
The sister's had their traditional Sister's Challenge. Melaine was the big winner this year. Some of us got to go and see New Moon. It was really good! We rode quads and the Rino. Over all we had lots and lots of food and fun!!

Trick or Treating...

Peyton had lots of fun going trick or treating with her mommy and grandmothers. She got a lot of candy which I was very happy about. She looked so adorable in her cat costume (thanks grandma Carle). Lots of fun, what will I get to do with her next? I really love this whole mom thing.

First Cereal

Peyton is having lots of fun trying out new foods. This week she is trying pears. It's so fun to watch her change and grow. She can roll over all the way now, and is picking up her toys. Lots of fun. Here are a couple more pictures of the baby.

Crazy Life

Life sure has been crazy these last few months. My twin, Melanie and her little boy Kaden came to visit in August. We had a blast spending time together. We were able to get the kids pictures taken. Kadan was a real trooper, but Peyton cried almost the whole time we were there. It was a little discouraging but they turned out pretty good.

We had a birthday party for my mom while Melanie was here. It was a lot of fun for all of us to be together. We played lots of games, including my favorite Ticket to Ride. In fact I got my highest score ever and totally demolished everyone.

I am back at school teaching second grade this year. Its been sad losing my partner in crime Charese (she is the only Kinder teacher at our school now) but its been nice getting to know the other second grade teachers. They have been extremely helpful which is much appreciated!! I have been losing my mind a bit, but I am getting though it.

It has been really hard leaving Peyton to go back to work. I feel very blessed to have my dad watching her. I'm glad that she will have close bond with him. I'm sure they will have some great adventures together. Peyton amazes me daily, and I love being her mother.

SMILE

Peyton has been smiling up a storm. It's just really hard to catch it on camera, but I was lucky this time.

Blessing Peyton

Peyton was blessed June 7th. She looked so beautiful in her blessing dress. My niece Arya and nephew Caleb told me how beautiful Peyton's WEDDING dress looked. We were really happy that a lot of our family could be there. Lots of anuts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and great grandma Draper. It was a wonderful day!

Peyton's first Restaurant

After an appointment for Peyton last Friday we all went to Red Robin for dinner. It was really fun! Peyton got her first balloon, which she never saw because she sleept the whole time. It was so loud there but she never flinched.

Our baby girl is born!

From Movies

Here is a video of pictures that were taken at the hospital. These are a small portion of all the photo's that we have taken since she was born so there will surely be many more posts to come in the near future. She was born at 8:05pm on Sunday, May 17th. She weighed 7 pounds and measured 18 and 3/4 inches. As many of you may know we took a poll of different family and friends while we were at the hospital in regards to her length and weight. JoAnn guessed the weight exactly and was the closest to the correct length with a few other people. I guess its true that mother knows best, although I would have to say she did have an unfair advantage. Anyway mother and daughter are home now and recovering quite nicely. Peyton is already back to birth weight and gaining more and more every day. It's been a pretty crazy week but one I wouldn't change for the world. Our lives are officially changed forever and what a surreal experience it is.

April Showers....

Wow, was I spoiled this month. I had three baby showers. The first one was in Salt Lake given by my mother in law Debbie, her sister Michelle, and mother Margo. I had one at school given by my friends Charese and Lori, and the last one was at my mother's house given by my mom and Debbie. Little Peyton is set for a very long time. All I can say is that we have great family and friends. A big thanks to everyone! Now we are just waiting for Peyton to come.

Tiny Baby Bump

This is me at the end of January. It's funny how I thought I was so big there. I am much bigger now. Kris and I have worked very hard to get Peyton's room put together. We are almost done, so I will have to post some pictures soon. Little Peyton is already getting spoiled. I'm sure she is loving it!

It's a Girl

Here are some pictures and a video of our little girl. In the video you will notice that she seems to have found her thumb, is flexible, and towards the end grabs her foot which is adorable! We are really happy and excited for our little miracle to arrive.

A Great Day!!!

Saturday was a great day for us. JoAnn found out that she has a new doctor which is such a relief (you will see why when you see his picture posted below). We also found out that we are having a baby girl. The place we went for the ultrasound was awesome and we are so happy that we found it. JoAnn defenitely thinks it was the best 40 dollars she had spent in her entire life.

My previous doctor was like Dr. House except we don't think he was as smart! Just as mean!
