My Growing Girl

She just keeps getting bigger and bigger! I wish it wouldn't go so fast.

Thanksgiving Madness

Thanksgiving was a blast this year. Everyone was able to come home! All five sisters, Florence, Kathy, Amy, Melanie, and me, and my brother Jonathan. All our spouses were here, and all our kids. For a grand total of 27 people all at Mom and Dad's house.
The sister's had their traditional Sister's Challenge. Melaine was the big winner this year. Some of us got to go and see New Moon. It was really good! We rode quads and the Rino. Over all we had lots and lots of food and fun!!

Trick or Treating...

Peyton had lots of fun going trick or treating with her mommy and grandmothers. She got a lot of candy which I was very happy about. She looked so adorable in her cat costume (thanks grandma Carle). Lots of fun, what will I get to do with her next? I really love this whole mom thing.

Sleeping Beauty

This is how we have been finding Peyton in her crib. Can it be comfortable?

First Cereal

Peyton is having lots of fun trying out new foods. This week she is trying pears. It's so fun to watch her change and grow. She can roll over all the way now, and is picking up her toys. Lots of fun. Here are a couple more pictures of the baby.

Crazy Life

Life sure has been crazy these last few months. My twin, Melanie and her little boy Kaden came to visit in August. We had a blast spending time together. We were able to get the kids pictures taken. Kadan was a real trooper, but Peyton cried almost the whole time we were there. It was a little discouraging but they turned out pretty good.

We had a birthday party for my mom while Melanie was here. It was a lot of fun for all of us to be together. We played lots of games, including my favorite Ticket to Ride. In fact I got my highest score ever and totally demolished everyone.

I am back at school teaching second grade this year. Its been sad losing my partner in crime Charese (she is the only Kinder teacher at our school now) but its been nice getting to know the other second grade teachers. They have been extremely helpful which is much appreciated!! I have been losing my mind a bit, but I am getting though it.

It has been really hard leaving Peyton to go back to work. I feel very blessed to have my dad watching her. I'm glad that she will have close bond with him. I'm sure they will have some great adventures together. Peyton amazes me daily, and I love being her mother.
